MR. Murphy has written an exceptionally honest and direct telling of narratives from the front lines. Sharing with us his journey of service in special Operations or serving us as a truth seeker, all narratives come across direct and honest. This book parallels the journey of many of us, in this age after 9/11. Many who had no military career have been on a similar journey. believing in a bright endeavor at first before coming to terms with grayness of America’s actions, and now left seeking truths ourselves. This book has many truths within them. Thank you for allowing me experience this book.

Well done overview from a informative perspective. Very typical in history, her or she reigned till here, followed by the next....
the psychedelic use, the mysticism, the relation on other cultures, barely touched.
The best was the Sphinx is as old as we say it is and not older because we say so, period....

No mention of entheogens

Sadly this has simply been a presentation of historical. Minimalistic insights as to the internal search for meaning in life causing individuals to seek answers in mystic traditions. Mostly frustrating is however the obvious avoidance of entheogenic plant use that most likely enabled religion and mysticism to thrive.

This was a terrible attempt at revisionist history. The desire to show the confluence of native peoples with invading European culture is important and needed. This lecture series is sadly only intent is to voice to a triggered sensible snowflake generation how awful Indians were treated... I bought this series wanting to learn about native Americans and their culture. I will search for it else where,
