Another adventure of the Mitzy Moon series. As always well written and well read.
Waiting for the next book to be produced.

While the first two books made me believe this was just a nice little tale with a safe happy ending every time, now the complications start and the whole story just got that much more interesting. Wow! Really looking forward to the next volume.

Just as good as the first book

After reading the first book I immediately bought the second volume. And the fun just keeps going.
I'm definitely hooked.

Just my kind of humor

Admittedly I'm usually not a fan of the paranormal but this story really centers on a young woman adapting to a new environment and dealing with the everyday challenges of life and love.
The characters are well thought out, the story is well written and well performed.
I immediately fell in love with all the characters (especially the dog) and already bought the next book.

Loved it

Confusing story about a woman who lives an independent life but then lets herself be dominated by man. That's not the plotline however, but it happens and is portraied as ok.
The biggest problem with this audiobook is the narrator. The protagonist of this story is a woman so having it read by a man is a poor choice. The protagonist is an american woman who grew up in an arabic country but spoke english with her mother. The book clearly states that when she moved to the states she perfected her english and is later shown to get away with a Brooklyn- and even a Cocney-accent. But the brittish narrator speaks her lines with an arabic accent and makes her sound like a little girl throughout the book even though she's in her mid twenties most of the time. That makes her sound rather dim.
The main male character however, though in his early thirtees sounds as if he were an old man.
In combination their relationship feels rather inappropriate.
Save your money and read something else!

Great Story

I've read her other books and really loved them. This one is a little different. We still experience the story from the viewpoint of the protagonist following her thoughts like in the other books. But this book isn't a lovestory (although that is happening too) it's a spystory with lots of action.
A gripping story that's even more enjoyable the second time around.
And it should definetly shut those up who have criticized Stefenie Mayer for her old fashioned gender roles. If this protagonist isn't a strong woman, I don't know who is.
Unfortunately the book feels like it was written in a hurry and she didn't take the time to work out some of the kinks. But that doesn't diminish the entertainment. If you don't expect a literary masterpiece you'll get to enjoy a really good story.

Moderately interesting story

It's a moderately good book. Nothing special but a nice story without any highs and lows. It holds the reader's interest without causing too much euphoria. The story makes sence and the narrator is good. Ok to pass the time if you got nothing better to do.

Good start - disappointing finish

I thought this book was about a woman beeing left behind and then fighting her way back while the man is trying to rescue her. That actually happens but takes up less than a chapter.
In the beginning it's a really gripping story, one where you don't want to stop listening because you can't wait to see what happens next. But 10 hours into the story the woman still hasn't been left behind and when she finally is, she's just as soon back with her team.
The last 1 and a half hours of the book is totally different from the rest of the story and has no real plotline to speak of. It seems that the author wanted to ad a few more infos but didn't want to put in the effort to really write more than the just the basics.
Also some plotlines were started that didn't go anywhere, like the way her brother was suspicious but then no more is heard of that. So why mention it in the first place?
I think the story actually had potential to become one of my favourites but the last 3 chapters were so bad that they really made me angry.
I don't even think I will risk to read anything else by this author.
The narrator is one of the best I've heard so far.
