À propos de ce titre
A Chronicles of St Mary's short story that is sure to entertain. If you love Jasper Fforde or Ben Aaronovitch, you won't be able to resist Jodi Taylor.

It's Christmas Day 1066 and a team from St Mary's is going to witness the coronation of William the Conqueror. Or so they think...

However, History seems to have different plans for them and when Max finds herself delivering a child in a peasant's hut, she can't help wondering what History is up to.

Readers love Jodi Taylor:

'Once in a while, I discover an author who changes everything... Jodi Taylor and her protagonista Madeleine "Max" Maxwell have seduced me'

'A great mix of British proper-ness and humour with a large dollop of historical fun'

'Addictive. I wish St Mary's was real and I was a part of it'

'Jodi Taylor has an imagination that gets me completely hooked'

'A tour de force' Fantasy Historisch Science Fiction Zeitreisen

Avis de la critique

Takes readers on a carnival ride through laughter and tears with a bit of time travel thrown in for spice
A true page-turner
I've never seen time travel handled this way. I like it.
[An] appealing cast of characters... [with] with plenty of humour, lots of action, and even a touch of romance

Made me smile several times and was really a good listen, even though the direction of the story became quite obvious at some point and the main character kept on hinting at the mysterious coincidence a bit too often. I particularly enjoyed this story though. I feel I like this author best when she tells very short stories, it brings out the best results. thanks!

Bit obvious at some point but a marvelous idea
