I gave this story not one but two chances. The first time I stopped was bc I found Crew way too controlling and pushy. I did, however, want to see how the story continues so I came back. Huge nope, I still could not tolerate Crew. Got the impression that he enjoys the power imbalance between him and Addy way too much. Telling her time and time again that she needs to trust him, but does not trust her with information in return. Addy tells him that she gets panic attacks and needs to feel in control, and Crew's answer is just "You'll learn [to deal with it]". Sorry what?! I also got the impression that he's not all that big on consent. The scene after they get back from the White House, when Crew breaks into Addy's house (!!), she's crying and yelling and struggling but Crew grabs her, essentially overpowers her and doesn't let go of her - that made me feel physically uneasy and upset.
I am not spending any more of my time on this.

Crew is one big red flag for me - DNF
