À propos de ce titre

2XS, THE HALLUCINOGENIC CHIP OF CHOICE…

To Excess—that's how they say it on the streets…before it destroyed their minds.

Private detective Dirk Montgomery thinks he knows those streets. He's watched the change with the world, as the powers of magic grow and alter the balances of power. He thinks he understands even the deepest shadows and the darkest of hearts. He is wrong.

Now there's something out there beyond his understanding. Something foul and alien. Something that will consume even the most wary soul. And if he’s not careful, even Dirk’s...

Ein echter Shadowrun Klassiker wurde hier sehr gut als Hörbuch umgesetzt.
Die beiden Sprecher (ein Männlein und ein Weiblein) machen ihre Aufgabe sehr gut.

Was mir nicht gefiel:
Der Titels des Buches ist "2XS" gesprochen als "to excess", nicht "2-X-S" gesprochen als "to X S"
Dafür zieh ich aber keine Sterne ab.
Ich freue mich schon auf die Fortsetzung "House of the Sun"

Gute Vertonung mit 2 Sprechnern

The main character didn't land at all for me. The casual sexism was extremely grating, and the MC also finds almost all new leads that drive forward the story not by himself, but by asking a hacker friend for help. Lame.

Suspense was good though, it's what kept me listening.

Overall not recommended.

Dated and grating, but good suspense
