One crew. One planet. Three timelines. No one survives alone.
A sci-fi thriller executive produced by Andy Weir (#1 bestselling author of Project Hail Mary, The Martian), with an all-star cast led by Anthony Mackie, Ariana DeBose and John Leguizamo. Written by Benjamin Percy (Wolverine, The Ninth Metal). Sound design by Skywalker Sound in immersive Dolby Atmos.
When the starship Wild Blue Yonder is torn apart by a quantum anomaly, each surviving crew member crash-lands in a different era on the same deadly exoplanet—hunted, alone, and running out of time. Chief Engineer Jeff Shaw (Anthony Mackie), aided by his virtual assistant (Ray Porter), must battle an unforgiving present, driven by one thing: getting home to his daughter. First Officer Becca Bang (Academy Award winner Ariana DeBose) fights to survive a hostile alien past. Science Officer Logan Bowers (John Leguizamo) wakes in a machine-ruled future that shouldn't exist. But the anomaly wasn't random. A relentless alien intelligence is feeding on human technology—and it's been waiting for them across every timeline. Separated by centuries, the crew must find a way to communicate across time itself before this world consumes them all.
Exoplanet is a propulsive, emotionally charged sci-fi thriller, perfect for fans of Project Hail Mary, Red Rising, The Expanse, and Dark Matter. Listeners, join the latest journey from Andy Weir where science meets survival, and the human spirit is tested across time, space, and impossible odds. Exoplanet awaits your arrival.

©2026 Audible Originals, LLC (P)2026 Audible Originals, LLCThe story is not by Andy Weir (which is fine), but I think a lot of people thought it was.
Once again it is shown that good actors don't automatically make good voice actors. Especially good to hear when putting them right next to Ray Porter. Sounds to me always like they try to compensate the lack of ways to express them selfs through regular acting, by speaking overdramatic. They probably act and move around in the soundbooth, but that does not come through in an aufiobook.
Also, what in the yeeehaaaw did these characters sound like? One guy sounds exacly like I would imagine a liquerstore owner with a questionable history and a loaded shotgun... but not someone you'd ever meet on a spaceship or exoplanet.
I couldn't get into the story. Was to annoyed with the way the characters sounded and didn't fit.
'puter tis a bit 'nnoying if em talk like that
