Claires & Jamies Geschichte geht weiter & vereint die Vergangenheit mit der Gegenwart. Tauch‘ mit ein in das Schottland des 18. Jahrhunderts - und seine Auswirkungen auf die Gegenwart… Ein Stern weniger für inkorrektes Gaelic - aber sonst wirklich toll gelesen!

Davina Porter ist die Top-Sprecherin der Gabaldon Texte- dafür eigentlich 6 Sterne, nur drei für den Roman. Wieder die bekannte Mischung, leider nicht so spannend wie Outlander. Trotzdem hörenswert vor allen für diejenigen, die Schottland und dessen eigene Sprache lieben und/oder Soft-Sex Beschreibungen ais weiblicher Sicht mögen.
Gut gelungen ist die Vorstellung von Bri(anna), der Tochter des Highlanders, die im 20. Jahrhundert aufgewachsern ist.
Insgesamt diesmal nur 4 Sterne

The speaker painted vivid pictures before my eyes - a wonderful history journey plus steamy love story. I can’t wait to start the next volume „Voyager“. Rarely a book has kept my attention as well as the „Outlander“ series. Highly recommended.

Band 1 Outlander behält einen Sonderplatz und steht auch für sich allein hervorragend. Nachdem bereits Band 9 erschienen ist, bleibt Band 2 immer noch mein kleiner Liebling. Ich höre ihn ab und zu und bin immer wieder verzückt.
Geschickt spinnt Diana Gabaldon die Story von Claire und Jamie weiter. Die wertvollen ersten Ehejahre. Der Weg von Paris nach Culloden. Die Bekanntschaft mit dem verantwortungslosen Prinz Charles und dem vergnügungssüchtigen König Louis XV. Heimkehr nach Lallybroch und Krieg in Schottland. Voller kleiner Geschichten und Abenteuer. Wunderbare Unterhaltung 💖👍🏻💖, dank auch Davina Porter.
