When Alice Love surfaces from a beautiful dream to find she's been injured in a gym, she knows that something is very wrong – she hates exercise. Loved the idea, and found myself wondering what if ... My daughter wasn't born ten years ago, and I thought I'd missed my chance of becoming a mother. What if, indeed, I lost ten years of memories!
Loved so many of the characters, little Olivia, Fran, Madison, ... They're entirely believable. Excellent narrator, too!

Ob wahrscheinlich oder nicht, der Gedächtnisverlust über den Zeitraum einer Dekade - wohl eine der prägendsten im Leben der Protagonistin - eröffnet den Zuhörenden zu erwartende, vor allem jedoch zahlreiche überraschende und aufschlussreiche Momente, die mich häufig zum lauten Lachen brachten. Die Verknüpfung mit weiteren Figuren und deren Leben bietet spannende Abwechslung. Mir haben sie mit ihnen verbundenen Stilbrüche gut gefallen und man gewann Einblick in deren Sicht auf die Dinge und darüberhinaus. Es ist weder ein Krimi noch ein Thriller und doch freute ich mich jedes Mal aufs Autofahren, damit ich die Geschichte weiter hören kann, so gespannt war ich auf das weitere Geschehen. Die Sprecherin verdient auch Lob, sie hat den verschiedenen Figuren ihren eigenen „Sprech“ zugewiesen.
Ich kann das (Hör-)Buch nur empfehlen!
