I almosted DNFed this book, I would recommend reading it on physical because I did not care for the male narrator’s voice. He is a good narrator but he sounds like Thea’s dad or uncle, just much older. This made their relationship feel creepy. Also the story is quite slow and the romance is unsatisfactory, so I was quite bored to be honest. The first book was a 4 star for me but this is barely a 3 if I’m honest. I don’t think I’ll continue the series.
