A riveting tale of love and self-discovery set between the future and the past....
2115 Post-C: Humanity has been saved from the brink of extinction by Centurions. Extraterrestrial overlords impose androgyny and control reproduction through strict methods. AI world government, constant monitoring, and the ability to manipulate time are the results of advanced alien technology.
Nina Clifford, college senior and passionate historian, commits the serious crime of disobedience and is condemned to be an experimental subject for Earth’s first time machine. Minutes before tele-transporting, she learns a terrifying secret.
In Gothic France, she meets a broken nobleman who evokes strange yet wonderful feelings. After discovering her humanity and sexuality in the medieval world, Nina is compelled to question everything she has ever been taught since her test-tube birth. Now, she must make a difficult decision about her future.
The Historian delves into the psychological power of indoctrination, and the rebellious yet glorious act of mental and emotional liberation.
