They thought they could get away with murder, but then Keeler showed up.

Ex-Special Forces operator Tom Keeler is a rambling man. He’s just passing through the town of Alencourt, France, and in less than an hour, someone tries to kill him. Nice place, nice try. But it’s a case of mistaken identity, and they picked the wrong guy. The French police can’t be trusted, except for the beautiful Cecile Nazari. She finds out fast, that keeping up with Keeler is a dangerous occupation. Because someone’s preying on the weak and unprotected. Someone murderous. But they never counted on coming up against a guy like Keeler©2021 Jack Lively (P)2021 W. F. Howes Ltd Genre Fiction Military Modern Detectives Mystery Thriller & Suspense War & Military

Ex-Soldier getting involved into murderous adventures is not exactly new, Jack Reacher probably being the most prominent of them all right now. But Tom Keeler sticks out as being the most laconic character of them all. I had a lot of fun following him through this tail. The book is fast paced and full of action.
I give 5 stars to the Jeff Harding who is reading this book for us. You may disagree, but to me his style of reading this book was a perfect fit for the Keeler character.
All in all, I will stick to the series.
