Even when you’ve escaped the darkness, a piece of it goes with you. To face that darkness and defy it or fall under its spell, that’s the real battle. Terri Dawn didn’t know if she could defeat the darkness within her or if she even wanted to. She’d have an eternity to find out.

To be honest there are many problems with the story, but I was able to pretty much overlook them all because the whole thing is crazy enough to be happening in another dimension. The part that broke the story for me was how the story is so selfrighteous about how men abuse women, but then the protagonist and her side kick find one excuse after the other to emotionally abuse another woman. They use her for their own means and then just forget her because the protagonist had an emotional booboo after seeing her side kick do exactly what the protagonist said the side kick should do.
