Without so much as a warning, humanity in its entirety was suddenly moved to another dimension. Every person, without exception.

But this new world, with all its opportunities and gifts of wondrous abilities, was a stadium. A deadly arena of an unimaginable scale. And humanity was to be its latest gladiators. Every man, woman, and child was given a weapon and ordered to fight. Stuck in this dimension without a way out, only two options existed for the would-be hunters: Fight with monsters to complete the many trials ahead, or perish.

Faced with hordes of powerful monsters, thrown into battle with complete strangers at random, the unfair game of survival began. And from the very beginning, billions of lives were extinguished in mere moments. But even within this abyss of despair was a small ray of hope: If even one person were to complete every raid, then humanity would be redeemed and restored back to its former glory.

No save points, no revives, no retries. Everyone had just one life to make their way through the gauntlet of raids prepared to test their mettle. Within this marathon of death, one man becomes aware of an exception to the rules of the game.

I mean, absolutely upper 30% of litrpg. Are there better? Sure! But it's a very consistent isekai litrpg that gets the job done.
Score: 3 giraffes out of 7 rhinos.

pretty good

Die Story war an sich "ok", nur ist der Charakter halt overpowered af, deswegen würde ich mir den zweiten Teil erst anhören, wenn ich nichts anderes mehr zum hören habe.

basically no story, but endless cringe. this almost reads like a parody of litrpg. bad even for the genre standards

cringe off the charts

A one man army killing his way to godhood - starting with an exhausted mood (not shellshocked, just a slight exhaustion), working his way with superior knowledge through the system. Enemies are clearly defined narcissistic douchbags & sociopaths who like to kill other players for personal gain (with the simple explanation, that the system just works that way) & every Woman is good looking & trustworthy & a damsel in distress & probably falls for the protagonist later on - she just doesn’t know it yet.
There are some positive parts to the story, but I really don’t care to recall nor phrase them & will instead leave them to other reviewers.
Good voice actor though.

Shallow & self-centred -no challenge

Travis Baldree is, in my opinion one of the best voice actors that we have voicing litrpgs. Having voiced some of the biggest and best audiobooks of the genre, like 'primal hunter'. He continues his work admirably here too, it is however just a very good lipstick on what is still a pig.
The story feels like it is just a very detailed and written out concept with no depth whatsoever. The main character is thrust upon the reader with no characterization and doesn't really get much later on either. This boring story itself would still have gotten it maybe two or three stars but the subtext sadly makes it more a chore than entertainment to listen to.
Just to name two examples that stood out to me:

Calling people that would rather die than kill a defenceless person 'weak minded' is something that throws a big shadow on the story, especially since it came from the narrator and not a character the reader could ascribe the opinion too.

The other is the seemingly obsessive description of people by what colour their skin is and what country they are from and then making the 'arab guy' and 'asian guy' complete assholes while the people that are more representated in western media at least decent. Now, this might not be on purpose, it does nonetheless make me feel like I have to pay closer attention to what the author is saying about these people indirectly and makes it a lot harder to just turn the brain off for a bit and enjoy a genre of books that otherwise doesn't require full attention.

In short: I am worried about the subtext and therefore can't enjoy

One of the best Voices actors there are wasted on a below average story
