A rollercoaster like the first novels where the merry band of pirates run from one trouble and one sketchy sh… scheme I meant … hehe … to the next. And as usual in big and small ways. And if you think, you already know what to expect - just wait for it …

.. I'm getting really sick of the overly aggressive usage of noise reduction that leads to every groan or other sounds a character makes to get turned into audio artifacts or simply nuked. It's on every recent read by RC. I'd love to know if it's the studio or if they're cutting costs and letting non-engineers run pre-production on the recordings and they're phoning it in.
