Farewell Lilydale Foundation Center… home of our final resting place.
We almost had them. But we should have known they wouldn’t play fair. It was a trap, another twisted game to use us.
As war continues, we’re left with no option but to fight. We can’t afford to give up now.
They fail to realize one thing though. People become dangerous when they have something to lose. And they become downright unhinged when they have nothing left except the promise of revenge.
This is how it ends. Broken savages. Haunted memories. It all comes down to this. We fight for our survival or die trying.
But either way, there’s no turning back now.
In death, we thrive.

This final book ties everything together perfectly. Watching Avery, Theo, Grey, and Damon go through everything they did and still come out stronger had me glued to my headphones. The dynamic between Theo and Grey? Absolutely perfect. I could picture every scene, every smirk, every glance — their connection just works.

spoilerwarning for below..
As I listen to a lot of audiobooks of dark romance in our reality (as opposed to romantasies or monster romances) I appreciate the more realistic spin to the story with the legal procedures as well as the characters reactions and mental struggles after being released from the hell thwy were in and yet not being too predictable.
It was amazing to see Avery bloom and the guys accept eachother as family.
what an end! i'll miss them an come back.
