Ich bin eine amerikanische Autorin. Deutsch ist nicht meine Stärke. Meinen deutschen Lesern sage ich 'Herzlich Willkommen! I've got two major writing loves, so I write under two names: Theda Black and Klaudia Bara. As Theda, I write emotional, angst-ridden stories about men in love. I like passionate events and no safety nets, and that means I don't always want the reader to be certain that everything will be okay in the end. I put my characters in some pretty dark places. And dark is where Klaudia comes in. As Klaudia, I write about monsters, or fairy tales (same thing, lots of times). Sometimes I add sex to the mix. I don't shy away from gore, but I'm more interested in the psychological side of horror - getting into people's heads and seeing how much fortitude they've got, what makes them break and what makes them brave.
