tammy lynne stoner was born in Midland, Texas. Stemming from what her grandmother calls her "gypsy blood," she has since lived in 16 cities, working as a gas station attendant, biscuit maker, medical experimentee, house cleaner, and a college instructor – among other odd jobs. When not writing she is the Publisher of Gertrude and wrangler of GERTIE queer book club. ​She earned her MFA from Antioch University and has been published in two dozen books and journals. Currently, tammy lives between Portland, OR and Basel, Switzerland with her lady-friend, Karena, and their three kids. She can most often be found in the tub. TammyLynneStoner.com
