Suzanne Winterly was born in Co Tipperary, Ireland. She's always been fascinated by words and has an English degree from Trinity College Dublin. She worked in horticulture and horse racing and her writing has been published in magazines and newspapers in Ireland and the United Kingdom. Armed with her notebook and recorder, she travelled the country to interview landscape designers and growers for specialist publications. She met a lot of characters along the way. That's one of the best things about living in Ireland - the characters. And the stories. Everyone has a story to tell. When Suzanne isn't living in the fictional world of her latest novel, she is meeting friends, enjoying her garden or dressing up as a movie extra. She is married with two sons and lives in the country with her husband and a variety of four-legged creatures. www.suzannewinterly.com
