SUE TABASHNIK has been an active member of the Official Patrick Swayze International Fan Club since 2000 and has written numerous articles for the club magazine. She has been a master's level social worker for over thirty-four years and as part of her work has conducted thousands of interviews. She has brought her passion and strong personal connection to Dirty Dancing with her social work background to write this unique book. She was born in and has lived most of her life in the Detroit area of Michigan.
