Stepanos Saghbazarian

Stepanos Saghbazarian is an author, educator, and storyteller who writes across children’s fiction, Christian fiction, psychological suspense, mystery, fantasy, and emotionally driven contemporary stories. Although his books explore different worlds and genres, they share a common purpose: helping readers feel seen, understood, and less alone.

He is the creator of The Survival Guide of the Awkward Critters, a growing children’s universe built around friendship, humor, family, adventure, courage, and the belief that being different does not mean facing life alone. The universe also includes Awkward Critters Junior: Riley’s Daycare Detectives, seasonal adventures, and future stories extending beyond books into animation and other creative experiences.

Stepanos’s adult novels include The Man at the Rail, a Christian novel and guided reflection about hidden depression, fatherhood, marriage, grief, faith, and the courage to stay present; 13 Steps: The Owen Hall Story; The Bakery at the Edge of Time; The Town That Forgot to Cry; and The Watcher’s Letter. His growing catalog explores faith, family, mental health, memory, redemption, suspense, and the quiet struggles people often carry behind ordinary lives.

With a professional background in education, technology, and learning development, Stepanos brings imagination, emotional honesty, and real-world insight to his writing. His goal is not merely to publish books, but to create stories and characters capable of encouraging people, opening meaningful conversations, and changing lives one reader at a time.
