AUTHOR

Samantha Sonnett

Samantha Sonnett is a retired NYPD counterterrorism specialist and current global security contractor. The Protectorate: A Phoenix Rises is her debut thriller–a killer who leaves Sylvia Plath's poetry as her calling card, a detective squad racing to keep up as the bodies fall, a century-old secret society of elite women operating in the shadows. The first book in a planned trilogy.

Sonnett brings a career built on real investigative and counterterrorism work to the page, writing crime fiction with the authenticity of someone who's lived it. She lives in New Jersey with her wife, two dogs, and a very ornery cat.
