Mark Giszczak

My name is Mark Giszczak. I am Professor of Sacred Scripture at Saint Paul Seminary at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. Previously, I taught at the Augustine Institute, Greenwood Village, CO (2010-2025). Through teaching, writing--often on my blog, CatholicBibleStudent--and speaking, I enjoy helping Catholics read, study, and pray the Bible. I live in the Twin Cities area with my wife and children. When I'm not eating, sleeping, and breathing the Bible, you might find me decorating a cake, playing golf, recording a podcast, taking my children to the playground, or drinking a cup of manually-brewed single-origin coffee.

My degrees:
Ph.D., The Catholic University of America, Washington, DC (2013)
S.S.L., Pontifical Biblical Commission (2016)
S.S.B., Pontifical Biblical Commission (2014)
M.A., Augustine Institute, Denver, CO (2007)
B.Phil., Ave Maria College, Ypsilanti, MI (2005)
