Laura Hervey

An avid reader and lover of stories from a young age, Laura Hervey first decided that she wanted to be a writer while reading "The Martian Chronicles" in a high school English class taught by her favorite teacher. Although Laura writes romance, she remembers thinking that Bradbury had created a whole world with words. "I want to do that!" she thought.

Today, Laura writes romance novels and works as a building-based substitute at a local high school. To date she has published three books, SCARLET TEARS, LIGHT IN A DARK PLACE, and LOVE'S WAY BACK. Laura lives in western New York. She has two children, five grandchildren, and a German shepherd dog. Her favorite activities include photography, family outings, long walks, and reading a good book while sitting on the beach.

Laura has also published an assortment articles, short stories, devotionals, poetry, and opinion pieces.
