Jennie E. Nicassio

Jennie E. Nicassio writes stories for curious children and adults who still ask, “What if?” A Pittsburgh-area author and screenwriter, she holds a master’s degree in Professional Writing from Chatham University.
Her children’s books include Rocky: The Rockefeller Christmas Tree, Ava Over the Rainbow, and Louis-Joseph’s Ooh Rah! Through animal companions, Christmas wishes, and family connections, her stories explore courage, kindness, and finding a place to belong. She collaborates with R. J. Pagane on The Adventures of Pounce, a children’s series inspired by a real rescued cat.
For older readers, Jennie’s From the Sky series explores science fiction, mystery, and the unknown. Her experience as a journalist, a former MUFON field investigator for Westmoreland County, and former host of Chasing Prophecy on UPRN FM 107.5 in New Orleans feeds her curiosity about extraordinary possibilities and the people caught up in them.
Beyond books, Jennie writes screenplays spanning family drama, romance, science fiction, and suspense. She lives in western Pennsylvania, where family, faith, and her love of dogs continue to inspire her work.
