CJ Blount

CJ Blount is known for his dynamic voice—a voice that has led worship for nearly two decades at Church of the Highlands in Birmingham, Alabama, one of the most influential churches in the world. Through his unique blend of power and gentleness, CJ has helped lead countless people into life-changing encounters with God through Christ-centered worship.

CJ is also a gifted songwriter. His song "Place of Freedom" became an anthem at Church of the Highlands and has reached millions far beyond its walls. But CJ’s story extends well beyond the stage. The humility and authenticity that define his life today were forged through a childhood marked by pain and brokenness. His testimony stands as a powerful reminder of God’s grace, redemption, and unwavering goodness.

CJ and his wife, Amanda, are the proud parents of five beautiful children: McKenna, Camren, Anderson, Carson, and Callie Joy.
