Ashley Cooley

Ashley Cooley is an Oklahoma-based author who writes for those who have survived things they don’t always speak about.
Drawing from lived experience, she writes unapologetically about trauma, faith, identity, and the painful, sacred process of rebuilding a life from the inside out. Her work is both raw and reflective, honest about doubt and deconstruction, yet anchored in hope.
Her first published book, Holy Enough Until I Wasn’t, explores belief, belonging, and what happens when faith begins to unravel. Although The Girl Who Survived Herself was written first, it continues the deeper story of survival, healing, and reclaiming power.
Ashley writes to challenge silence, honor resilience, and remind others that faith and healing can coexist with more stories still to come.
