So this book starts with an introduction to what mindfulness is and why it is important. The second section is about Mental Diets. It talks about our mental conversations with ourselves directs our path. If we are having negative mental conversations, then it will direct a negative mindset. We need to go on a mental diet of positive thinking to improve our lives. The final section of the book is about how to start achieving mindfulness. The first step is to relax. I know that seems like a simple thing to say but most people are so wound with stress that true relaxation is hard to achieve. Each person needs to find their own way to relax to start the process. This is a great book about mindfulness and an easy read.

I was flipping through to see if a book I was interested in was available on Kindle. I must have touched the One Touch purchase of this book because the screen reflected the receipt for the purchase. What the heck, thought I, it's only $2.99 and maybe it's good. I'd heard of Neville as a manifestation luminary and started reading the next night. Yup, it's all in feeling the accomplishment of that which you want. I'd heard this before but never understood it until I read this little book. I think I was meant to read it! I'd buy it again, and recommend it highly.

I started doing yoga almost two years ago and I'm interested in learning more about mindful living and meditation. I like that this book is short and gets to the point. I don't like reading books that go on and on when fewer words could get the job done.
The best take away for me was feelings affect our thoughts. When we feel great good thoughts tend to follow and when we feel bad our thoughts reinforce this by turning negative and our focus becomes negative.
I am already re-reading the book because I need to be reminded and recommit to what the book teaches so I'm glad it is short enough to be used as a "manual" for mindful living.
Loved the book....helped me merge my mindfulness practice with what I learned from Neville Goddard's books on creating our life experience....I found merging mindfulness and imagination was just the thing for me...after years of trying different things.
