The first time I set foot in Fire Chief Declan Everhart's small town, he declared me trouble.
Maybe it's because I'm a pop star hiding in his house for the holiday season. Or maybe it's the way I can't help but tease the Grinch. More than likely, though, it's because his best friend Cade touched me right in front of him, lighting a fire so hot it threatens to incinerate us all.

Cade is famous for being the playboy assistant coach of the Boston Bolts, a man only out for a good time. But I know what we have is rare.
Cade wants me. Declan wants me. And Declan would be a bad liar if he didn't admit that some part of him wants Cade, too.
I've gone round and round about these feelings. Can we really just say the heart wants what it wants, or are we just asking for more trouble?
Trouble is a grumpy/sunshine holiday MMF romance. Narrated in duet style.

This is a grumpy / 2x sunshine, insta-crush, kinky romance set in Brittanee Nicole’s interconnected world, with a few fun cameos from other series. The characters are likable, though the development is lighter.
I really liked both MMCs:
🔥 Declan — the grumpy, broody fire chief who mostly communicates in grunts. He's hot, quiet, and has that rough protective vibe.
🏒 Cade — his best friend, the outgoing and flirtatious hockey coach who’s secretly been in love with Declan for years. He's shameless, fun, and full of charm.
And then there’s Melina, a young pop star who seeks refuge at Declan’s house while hiding from her psycho ex. I’ll admit, I had a hard time warming up to her at first — she came across as bratty, entitled, and even rude to Declan. But to her credit, she did show some character growth over the course of the book.
All in all, it was a fun, spicy escape with minimal plot and a focus on heat and chemistry. If you're in the mood for kinks, chaos, and a trio you can’t look away from, this one’s for you.
🎧 Narration: Grayson Owens & Janine Granda did a great job bringing these characters to life in duet style. The spice was definitely elevated by their performance.

Es war aber wirklich viel viel spice. Also das muss man mögen. Manchmal kam mir dann die eigentliche Geschichte ein bisschen zu Oberflächlich vor, nebst all den hotten szenen. Das fanf ich zeitweise schade. Aber für alle, die gerne spice haben, ist es ein gutes Buch!
