The first chapters had me a little confused - as in, what do Brie and Jase have to do with Trident and the whole series? There didn't seem to be any connection. Well, i got my answer, when the elevator doors on the island of St. Lucia opened, someone fainted and my jaw dropped open. I got my holy-sh*t moment and wouldn't need to wonder anymore.
The banter between everyone is still ridiculously amazing. That is one book I definitely enjoyed listening to.
The author has a seriously amazing mind to spin stories, that not only cover one book, but lead you through many books of the story and that is - in my eyes - what an excuisite author does. Fabulous!
