Oh, wow. Dang, I didn't know what I was getting myself into. I've seen this book everywhere, but I avoided spoilers like the plague for some reason. I did not want to know anything about it. I wanted to go into this book blindly, and when I heard an audiobook was gonna be released, I put this one on hold until I finally got to listen to it. I'm so happy I waited and for keeping myself away from everything Ricochet related.
Callum and Stone... wow. Just wow. I am speechless. I don't really know how to explain the way this book made me feel. It is a dark romance, and it has a lot of TW. The TW are not to be ignored since... well... they're bad. Did this make me feel anything other than excited and allowed me to obsess over this book even more? Well, yes... but I'm also far from normal 😂.
The first time, they kissed... I cried. I freaking cried. That scene did something to me. I'm telling you... THAT SCENE has me on a chokehold.
The plot of the book was amazing, the characters absolutely spectacular. The way these characters are... top tier. I don't want to say more because I don't want to spoil anything, but WOW. OBSESSED. Totally and utterly obsessed. I already know this will be one of my comfort reads... 😂 I will listen and read and re-read it so many times... yeah... that I'll do.
again... wow...
And the audiobook? Well, I love books narrated by Liam DiCosmo, but wow, Sean Masters was equally phenomenal.
