The narrators were wonderful and did the best they could with a god awful story.
I’m not sure what happened between book 1 and book 2 but the author dropped the ball with these characters, such a waste! 95% of the story is about 2 people apart. The last 2 chapters felt as if the author had forgotten she was writing a romance novel and she hurriedly tacked on some spice🤦♀️
Maybe an epilogue could have helped my star rating but the author seems to have decided it for whatever reason it wasn’t necessary 🤷♀️
