Ich höre Unmengen Hörbücher und viele vergesse ich umgehend wieder, aber dieses hier ist mir auch Monate danach noch präsent. Extrem spannend, ausgesprochen gute Charakterzeichnung, viel Tiefgang und nicht zuletzt unbändig erotisch. Hat mich wirklich gefangen genommen. Daran ist zum Teil natürlich auch Sebastian Yorks umwerfende Stimmfarbe schuld, dem - neben Alex Wyndham - besten aller Sprecher.

Lohnt sich wirklich - ein Ohrenschmaus!

CD Reiss hat sich mit diesem Buch selber in den Adelsstand erhoben.
Eine intensive, schockierende, komplizierte und an Poesie grenzende Geschichte über das Ende einer außergewöhnlichen Ehe.
Adam ist ein Dom durch und durch (für diese hatte ich bislang eigentlich gar nichts übrig, bis zu diesem Buch...). Adam paart sich natürlich ausschließlich mit Subs. Diese kann er jedoch genau aus diesem Grund nicht lieben.
Als die starke, selbstbewußte Diana in sein Leben tritt, lässt er sein altes Leben zurück. Zumindest physisch. Doch etwas fehlt der Ehe, worunter auch Diana leidet, bis sie es nicht mehr ertragen kann und ihn verlässt. Klingt jetzt irgendwie flach, ist es aber nicht.
