The story is well thought out and makes sense. Character development and interaction is great but what really took the cake were the narrators themselves. And the duet kind of thing going on (when his parts in her POV were narrated by him and vice versa) is so much better than just one person trying to imitate the other one speaking. Also the humor - so well placed that it caught me a few times off guard (in a good way). The sub-side-relationship that’s going on between Josh and Fred is so sweet and quirky but it fits amazingly into Josh’s character. Overall I had a great time listing to this story and can’t wait for the next one!

Oh my word, Lights Out was my very first audiobook, and I don’t think I could’ve picked a better place to start! I had no idea listening to a book could be this incredible. I was so hooked, I think I surprised myself with just how much I loved this whole experience! 🎧😍

From start to finish, I went through every possible emotion: giggling, blushing, laughing out loud, and even holding my breath in suspense 🤭 The story itself? Hilarious, spicy, and darkly romantic—following Aly and Josh in a delightfully twisty, laugh-out-loud st^alker dark romance that kept me on the edge of my seat 👀🥷

And the narration? I LOVED it 😍 Having both a female and male voice actor narrate in tandem took the dialogue to another level. The humor, the tension—everything just hit better with their performances. And can we talk about the male narrator’s voice? 😫 An absolute dream! Every time he spoke, I swear I had butterflies. He could read me my grocery list, and I’d be just as enchanted! 🦋🙂‍↕️

The story itself is fantastic. Navessa Allen created these two amazing leads with a chemistry that practically sizzled out of my earbuds. Aly and Josh had me laughing at their banter and swooning at their spicy moments—so much romance buildup that it was just delicious. And even though Aly figured out her masked mystery man’s identity pretty quickly, it actually worked, because she’s just that sharp.

In short, Lights Out was everything I didn’t know I needed in an audiobook—perfect humor, amazing spice, and pure entertainment from start to finish. I loved it so much I’m ready to listen to it all over again (and probably a few times after that) 😂❤️ If you haven’t checked this one out, do yourself a favor and dive in ‼️
