Detectives Mark Ruxsberg and Chris Green are very good at their jobs. Being the enforcers for God and Day's notorious Atlanta PD Narcotics Task Force causes the crazy duo to get into more trouble than they can often get out of. The pair never misses out on an opportunity to drive their lieutenants crazy with their dangerous, reckless, and costly stunts, landing them in the hot seat in front of God...often.

I´m simply in love with A.E, Vias stories and her perfectly imperfect heroes.
Older, with "issues" or even a disability still makes for an incredible hero when written right - and she does it like no other 😍
Also love the way Aiden Snow narrates - perfect combo!

Ich hatte das Buch als deutsche Übersetzung bereits gelesen und fand es nicht schlecht, auch wenn es anfängliche Probleme mit dem Download gegeben hatte.
Aber das Hörbuch in der Originalsprache zu hören, ist absolut genial! Aiden Snow schafft es auf richtig tolle Weise, den jeweiligen (männlichen) Charaktere "Leben" einzuhauchen. Aber auch seine Erzählerstimme ist sehr angenehm. Ich bin wirklich begeistert.
