To be honest I had very low expectations when I started listening to this, so I was all the more enthused when I realised how awesome it is. The story made me laugh out loud multiple times and have a really good time. This is quite the achievement as few books manage to actually make me laugh. The main character is very loveable and easy to relate with. Also, the woman has character. The plot is interesting and I like the way vampires are portrayed here.

To be honest I wish there were dozens of books with this main character. She has so much potential and I would love to read how her story continues.

A must read for fans of dark and seductive vampires and intelligent and loveable main characters.

I'm a great vampire fan but very particular about how I like them portrayed. Usually, therefore, I stick to contemporary romance, rather than any kind of fantasy narration. But I felt this craving to look for a vampire story for a change and came across this audiobook. Admittedly, I was apprehensive but then was more than positively surprised. The story was exciting and suspenseful, the characters wellrounded and likeable and it was easy to identify with the FMC, especially when it came to the protective attitude she has towards those she loves. I was really hanging on every word listening to this book and enjoyed the narrator's performance especially. A great story of a strong, loyal woman and a bunch of highly sexy vampires with a great delivery!

Started it because of the good reviews, but it's actually quite boring, even the numerous sex scenes. And the "strong female lead" decides to give everything up (career, her whole life) for some guys she knows for like a day? Quite unbelievable and also wtf. Tbf, I don't know if it'll get better at some point because I will not continue listening.
