The story is everything! The character development is great. It’s believable and socially critical, while still maintaining that cozy feeling. And the spice is making me sweat…. Listen at your own risk!

The poly relationship trope is always a favorite of mine, so I was immediately intrigued—especially because two of the characters were already happily married.

I absolutely adored Drake’s character. At first, he comes across as a bit of a manwhore, but it quickly becomes clear he has so many layers—deep, hidden feelings, and a heart that’s fun, attentive, patient, and loyal to a fault to both Isabel and Hunter.

The poly dynamic here was exceptionally well done. So often, this trope in romance is used mainly as a vehicle for smut, but not in this case. The characters didn’t just jump in the moment an opportunity arose. There were serious conversations, long bouts of holding back, and careful consideration of the future and potential consequences. Even once the relationship began, it wasn’t painted as an easy path with a guaranteed HEA—something that made this story stand out from others I’ve read in the trope.

Of course, the spicy scenes were very hot and well executed.

Tim Paige’s narration for Drake was phenomenal—I loved those chapters-smooth, heartfelt, and magnetic. Aaron Shedlock nailed Hunter as usual. Allie Martina’s performance for Isabel took me a bit to adjust to because of her slight lisp, but she still captured Isabel’s emotions well. I just wished it was a duet.

I‘ve been looking for exactly that! A polyamorous MMF romance. Not that kind where two man „share“ the girl, but the one where everyone just falls for each other. I wish there would be more books about romances like that, I think it’s much more interesting than a normal two people relationship.

Die zwei männlichen Stimmen klingen gut und habe ihnen gerne zugehört. die weibliche Stimme und vor allem ihre Aussprache waren für mich sehr unangenehm und unsympathisch.
