The book is fun and sexy. Good baseline and characters. Can’t wait for the next book where there will be more about Nico’s father and Tyler story.

After absolutely loving the first book, I had high hopes for the second one—and I was genuinely looking forward to it. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to my expectations.

Although the book is marketed as a rom-com and touches on themes like sex work and kink, I found those elements to be barely explored. Because of that, I deducted two stars—this just wasn’t what I expected or was hoping for based on the premise.

On a more personal note, I struggled to connect with the female main character, and the chemistry between her and the male lead didn’t feel convincing or strong to me. That lack of connection made it hard to become emotionally invested in their story.

The highlights for me? Nico/Junior. I really liked his character and felt he brought depth and charm to the book. The narration by Teddy Hamilton and Kasi Hollowell was also excellent—it’s one of the main reasons I stuck with the story until the end.

Overall, this one just wasn’t for me—but I know others might enjoy it more, especially if they connect better with the characters than I did.
