Story-wise, I loved finally getting Embry’s POV and the added context from the “before” chapters, which helped clarify his history with Ash. While I struggled with Ash’s god complex and some ill-timed kink scenes, the emotional payoff at the end—especially after the twist—made everything click.
Not the love I hoped for, but a gripping, emotional listen that shines brightest in audio.
