Würden Sie dieses Hörbuch einem Freund empfehlen? Wenn ja, was würden Sie ihm dazu sagen?
A must read and strong recommendation to all my friends and people I work with (and for).At first I thought it is similar to Covey's Habit 1 ("be proactive") but after a while I realized that it contains new and very strong elements.
Welcher Moment von Mindset ist Ihnen besonders im Gedächtnis geblieben?
The distinction between a closed mindset and a growth mindset is explored by the auther with so many real life examples that it became more and more evident to me how working even more (than being just proactive) on my ability to adapt the growth mindset will allow for positive change for me in my personal and my business life.
Welche Figur hat Marguerite Gavin Ihrer Meinung nach am besten interpretiert?
I liked the many examples of well known (or at least perceived well known) celebrities from business (Lee Iacocca vs Jack Welch), Sports (John McEnroe) and Politics (Bill Clinton).
Was wäre für andere Hörer sonst noch hilfreich zu wissen, um das Hörbuch richtig einschätzen zu können?
The challenge for this book might be that it might easily reach people who are open to a growth mindset and at the same time (or because of that) difficult for people who are not open. A pity. In my experience fixed mindset people are much more difficult to reach anyway. A bit like chosing to accept that things are fixed and "the way they are" leads to a fixed mindset and closes the door for seeing (trusting) that things can be changed eventually... A self fulfilling prophecy in both cases. Not sure how this can help the fixed mindsets...
