Best dating advice book out there in my opinion. I don't think there is another book like it. Some advice is uncomfortable to hear, but it all makes sense!

The best 90s dating book on the market
Of all the books on dating, this one probably offers the most broad compilation of self-improvement techniques. This alone makes it worth buying & listening to.
Twenty years ago, this would have been a perfect book. Today, however, it's a will-o'-the-wisp leading your dating life to an untimely demise in a random swamp. This is due to three reasons:
First, Feminism has made women less feminine than ever, and instead much more masculine. As a result, they are way less concerned with their safety, and instead are more goal-oriented and calculate coldly. A man who makes them feel safe nowadays is considered boring, and self-control and emotional maturity are seen as killjoys. Why have a dull, stable relationship for decades, when you can have exciting drama for a few weeks? This is unless the woman is around 30, which is the age where you will have to watch out for excessive niceties followed by a punctured condom. Rest assured though that if you are a guy who is hard to manipulate, these are not the women who will be interested in you. Again, they are coldly calculating. It's either the party years, where they chase the hot guys they can never keep for long, or the adulting years where they need some weak, but hard-working guy who pulls in the $$$.
Second, Consumerism has taught women that everything is discardable and only exists for their personal enjoyment. Don't assume they will ever treat you with genuine appreciation. If they have had one or two bad experiences with men, they will just consider all men to be disposable fools, who may however be good for some entertainment or financing. They see males as Amazon items that you only look at if they have at least 4.5 stars, and that you can send back with no questions asked.
Third, Social media has hypervisualized and de-socialized everything. In our current age, most women can't even talk normally to strangers, and flirting is a thing of the distant past. Instead, men are now valued by their looks - bulkiness, height, low body fat, facial geometry, hair, eyes, skin color now trump honesty, resourcefulness, kindness, generosity and even humor. If the guy is hot enough, even terrible jokes are funny to a woman.
Here's my advice: if you want a girlfriend, go set up a tent in a gym and don't come out until you look like Brad Pitt in Fight Club. In the current Western culture, evolutionary biology is some kind of relic that, sure, is fun to learn about. But it doesn't offer much guidance, because human behavior is vastly shaped by culture.
