Surveying a nebula as part of their continuing exploration of the previously uncharted Odyssean Pass, Captain Jean-Luc Picard and the crew of the starship Enterprise encounter a rogue planet. Life signs are detected on the barren world's surface, and then a garbled message is received: a partial warning to stay away at all costs. Determined to render assistance, Picard dispatches Commander Worf and an away team to investigate, but their shuttlecraft is forced to make an emergency landing on the surface - moments before all contact is lost and the planet completely disappears.
Worf and his team learn that this mysterious world is locked into an unending succession of random jumps between dimensions, the result of an ambitious experiment gone awry. The Enterprise crew members and the alien scientists who created the technology behind this astonishing feat find themselves trapped, powerless to break the cycle. Meanwhile, as the planet continues to fade in and out of various planes of existence, other parties have taken notice....

Could be a good TNG Episide red by the best.
....seriously, Robert Petkovs talent in immitating the original casts voices is just amasing.
The story itself is, in my book, rather straight forward, no real surprises here, no big twists and turns, instead you get what i call a classic TNG feeling. I like that, i enjoyed it, and i do in fact recommend it.

Genialer Sprecher
Der Sprecher imitiert nahezu perfekt die Sprechstimmen der Original-Charaktere. Großartige! Seine Stimme sagt an, wer spricht.

Great Narration and true Star Trek Story
Great Narration, the Narrator has a great way playing the different and iconic Star Trek Characters. The Story is true to its source and you feel the certain Star Trek feeling you get from the old TNG TV series. But at a certain point it get a little to obvious what will happen next. Overall still great :) recommend to any Star Trek Fan

One of my new favorite Star Trek books
A great story with a great performance by the narrator.
A story that would deserve a second chapter if that's possible.
One of the stories that,no matter how long it is, isn't long enough.
