very good, wonderful reader
very good. God has spoken to me through this audiobible, it has been such a delight. And I love this reader! He allows his deep voice to be so expressive... it doesn't matter whether I always agree with the "emotional interpretation" or not, because simply having a voice that isn't boringly even-toned is a wonderful thing. Also*hearing* the Word, instead of reading it is surprisingly impactful… I hear passages that I know I've read but they sound brand-new. This is the best purchase I've ever made.

Makes the Scriptures come alive
Listening to this reading of the Bible makes it come alive. It is so "easy" to listen to larger portions of the Bible in one sitting, uninterrupted by verse numbers or chapters. The stories flow together into interconnecting units.
David Suchet reads the Bible in a way that I "feel" the emotions of God in response to the way his creation deals with him - feelings of disappointment, grief and anger undermined by pity, love and grace. I could listen for hours without getting distracted or bored.
