very disappointed

I`m very disappointed :-( apart from Mendez, Hicks and Dickson the story could be placed in any town. Anne, Vince and all the other people who make Oak Knoll unique just played very small guest-roles. Ok, so I got used to the character of Lauren. But after every chapter I disliked her a little more. She`s drowning in self-pity, her doings are haphazard. She`s stumbling through the story just going by her gut feeling and without any thought-out plan. I got used to the sophisticated character of Anne, compared to her, the character of Lauren is a revengeful alcoholic :-(
